Family Reading Celebration Grants

To promote literacy for children (ages 0 - 8). Funding is intended for events that involve children and their families, feature a read-aloud or parent workshop, connect families with resources to encourage reading at home, and give at least one book to every child in attendance to add to their home collection. Funds may be used to cover Family Reading Celebration expenses including books, food, professional workshop presenter fees, and raffle prizes.

The PIE Grants support the presentation and dissemination of information and perspectives that will stimulate enhanced environmental stewardship in any category eligible for Trust funding. The grant program seeks to expand dialogue on important conservation topics and to provide information on emerging or highly useful conservation methods.

Southwestern Energy (SWN) STEM Grants

Southwestern Energy will concentrate efforts to support STEM education by awarding mini-grants to K-12 teachers in Brooke, Ohio, Marshall and Wetzel county schools for projects that incorporate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) concepts into the classrooms. Maximum awards will be $500. Innovative and creative project proposals are encouraged. These mini-grants are to support projects and programs that are not covered by school budgets.
Carter Spark Grant

Spark Grants are small, flexible grants designed to give classroom teachers with innovative ideas the resources they need to “spark” a love of learning. For projects that will enhance student learning. Funding may be requested for one-time expenses, such as field trip expenses, classroom materials, equipment, software licenses, and other resources that would not normally be available.
