Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation Youth Grants

Youth-led community service projects designed to address childhood hunger.  Projects may take place in schools, colleges/universities, afterschool programs, youth organizations, nonprofits, or faith-based organizations. Projects that engage at least 50, 75, or 100 young people ages 5-25 as volunteers on Global Youth Service Day – April 17-19, 2020. Projects that will continue through summer 2020 are eligible for additional funding of $400. Projects that engage youth not typically asked to serve (youth with disabilities, youth that are struggling in school, youth from low-income or underserved communities, etc.)
2020 Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education (CLDE) Academy- Student Art Contest Theme: Who I Am

The Colorado Department of Education’s Office of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education will award a K-5 student, a 6-8 grade student, and a 9-12 grade student in the “Who I Am” student art contest. The art competition highlights students’ artistic talents through fine art (including photography, digital media, sculpture, etc.). The winners’ work will be on the cover of the program of the annual CLDE Academy. The winners, their parents and entering teacher will also be invited and honored at the awards luncheon.

Helen Bach Moss Memorial Better Beginnings Award

Awards to New York PreK-6 teachers to honor outstanding contributions to elementary education. Award recipients are teachers who excel at engaging young children in the educational process while cultivating their strengths and encouraging relationships among students, teachers, parents, and administrators. The purpose of the award, which celebrates the life and career of Helen Bach Moss, is to recognize elementary teachers who are gifted in finding and nurturing the strengths of each student and fostering trusting relationships. This award program recognizes early childhood education as the most effective investment for long-term educational success.
Michigan Nature Association Field Trip Grant

The grants are intended to assist teachers in developing fun, educational, and hands-on field trips to help students learn about the natural environment. Eligible grant expenses include transportation, program and/or entry fees, and educational supplies. 
2020 National Youth Science Camp Delegates

Washington high school seniors are encouraged to submit an application to attend the 2020 National Youth Science Camp (NYSC). Two Washington high school seniors will be selected from the applicant pool to receive a scholarship to exchange ideas with scientists and other professionals from the academic and corporate worlds. The selected delegates must not only demonstrate academic achievement in science, but also show potential for thoughtful scientific leadership.
