| Eligibility: | The ASCAP Foundation considers proposals from other 501(c)(3) organizations engaging in music education and talent development programs that are consistent with the mission and objectives of The ASCAP Foundation and which support music education programs for aspiring songwriters and composers. |
| Purpose: | The ASCAP Foundation, established in 1975, is a publicly supported charitable organization which is tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is dedicated to supporting American music creators and encouraging their development through music education and talent development programs. |
| More Information: | The ASCAP FoundationOne Lincoln Plaza, New York, NY 10023-7142 Application Process: Grant Applications are by invitation only. Those interested in applying for a grant must first submit a Letter of Intent Form by August 1, 2010. Organizations must have 501(c)(3) status in order to submit a Letter of Intent and are allowed to submit only one Letter of Intent per calendar year. Before submitting your Letter of Intent, please read The ASCAP Foundation Grant Application Guidelines to determine whether your organization and program meets our funding requirements. |
